Sketch o’the Week- Rutger Hauer!

I was sorry to hear of the passing of actor Rutger Hauer yesterday. “Blade Runner” is probably my favorite Sci-Fi movie of all time, or at least in the top three. He was one of the big reasons. He could have played the role of Roy Batty as a cartoonish villain, but he imbued him with more humanity than most of the human characters in the film had. I know his career was a LOT more than that film, but that was an iconic performance. Anyway he fits perfectly into my “classic action heroes” series except for the hero part… but I don’t care! RIP Mr. Hauer.
