Sketch o’the Week- Lena Headey x 2!

I’m busy and on the road (again) today so it’s a flashback SotW this week. I guess some TV show of some kind starring Lena Headey came back with a new episode or something this past Sunday? Hard to keep track of that kind of thing, but here are two sketches I did of Ms. Headey that were years apart. The one on the left is from her title role in the short lived “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” from 2008, and the other is from that little known show she’s in now, done in 2014. I guess her chin got bigger over those six years.

This is exactly what I like about caricatures. You do the same person years apart and they look essentially different. Sometimes even an hour makes a difference. You see new things on a face. I’m cutting my teeth in live caricaturing and as you know. This is really hard. Every now and then I look through your book to find a new way of drawing something. I always enjoy your mad creations.
