Catwoman number two: Lee Meriwether! Ms. Meriwether took over the role of Catwoman from Julie Newmar for the spinoff film version of the TV show “Batman”, which hit theaters in June 1966. “Catwoman Week” continues tomorrow… same Bat Time, same Bat Website! It’s Catwoman Week! Here’s the first of my finished art for my upcoming limited edition print that debuts next week at San Diego Comic Con and here in the Studio Store. Catwoman number one is Julie Newmar, the first live-action version of the Feline Femme Fatale from the Batman TV show. She first appeared in a two episode story arc in March of 1966. Gabrielle, home in MN and recovering with newly deputized therapy dog Dr. Watson First, a recap: On Tuesday, June 12th the Richmond family had a bad scare when our youngest daughter Gabrielle (okay she’s 24, but she’d still my baby girl) who lives and works in Orlando FL was rushed to the ER via ambulance after multiple instances of losing consciousness amid sudden alarming amounts of blood in her stool. It’s humbling to ask people to donate money when so many out there need assistance, but my youngest daughter has had a serious medical emergency and really needs some help. Gabrielle is 24, and a very brave and determined young woman. She packed her bags and moved to Orlando shortly after high school to pursue her dream of being a performer. She’s been working multiple jobs to make ends meet including at Disney World as a character attendant, modeling, working trade shows and events as a hostess/running entertainment games like dealing blackjack for casino themed events, appearing as a “princess” at Orlando area events and… READ MORE
