I try really hard when I do a comic-con to only do commissions while there, and not ahead of time or take them home and ship them later. This is for two reasons. First, it makes this kind of thing unique in that you can only get one these from me at a comic con, and it’s (mostly) the only time I work in brush pen and Copic markers. Since Quentin Tarantino and Jimmy Kimmel showed this off on the Kimmel show last night, MAD officially released the cover of #9 on Twitter today so I can share it here. Art by me but if you are looking at it and thinking “those look just like Jack Davis feet” you’d be right… I was instructed to channel Jack as part of the whole retro early 60’s vibe. There’s a lot more story to all this but I have to wait until the issue comes out to spill it. READ MORE
