Orlando Workshop Warmup!

I wrapped up my Orlando workshop Sunday but I’m still here visiting with my youngest daughter The Effervescent Gabrielle for her birthday, so the rest of the week I’ll be posting the ‘warm up’ sketches the class and I did over the weekend. I received several emails from readers who were outraged about my post yesterday, where I showed a 5 year old piece of variant cover art I did for the DC title Batman/Superman reprinted as the cover of the Australian MAD Magazine (with modification to the art), without my knowledge or without renumeration. I guess they expected me to be outraged as well. Most were surprised that I was far from outraged. In fact I barely shrugged. Why? Three words: Work for Hire.
