This is the project I was busy with the last couple of days. It was a personal commission from Judd Apatow to give to his wife Leslie Mann for her birthday yesterday. Judd originally contacted me back in December with an idea to do a comic book style page telling a story from Leslie’s life, but we never connected with a script from him and after months of not hearing back I figured the project was dead. Here’s today’s subject: Leslie Mann! She’s got a lot of expressions but I particularly like the pursed smile, which really makes her cheeks pop out. She also has a long face with a lot of forehead and a long, pointed chin. READ MORE

I’m afraid I had to cop out today and post a caricature I had previously done of Billie Eilish, as I have a job on the board with a tight deadline. In fact I’ll probably have to do the same tomorrow. Today’s “Daily Coronacature” is a quick drawing of Lin-Manuel Miranda because I am under the gun with a little project. LMM had a longe face but all the length is in his forehead and nose. He has a smaller chin/jawline. He has hush-puppy eyes with exceptionally dark, heavy eyelashes and a small mouth with a unique, pursed smile.
