Passion Podcast!

The second of the podcasts I interviewed for just dropped today, and it’s really different from your usual podcast format.

Chris Johnson‘s Passion Podcast is unique in a few ways. First, it’s not focused on one subject or theme, unless that theme is “people who do something they love and are passionate about”. He’s done several hundred episodes where he interviews musicians, athletes, comedians, artists, and other creative professionals about their journey in their careers and life.

Second this isn’t your run-of-the-mill “Zoom” type podcast interview. Chris travels to wherever his interviewee is locationed with a portable multi-camera studio and does the interview face to face. That leads to a tremendously high quality video and much more personal feel to the conversation.

Third, he really does his research and adds a lot of fun images and clips to the mix. You’ll just have to watch it and see what I’m talking about.

This one is pretty long at 1:45, but Chris does a great job of not making me sound boring (very hard to do), and keeping it fun. This all came about after he interviewed my pal Doug Mahnke a few episodes ago (I highly recommend you watch that one), and Doug recommended he talk to me.
