The Chicago Reader’s Jake Austen has a terrific article about new MAD Fold-In Fiend Johnny Sampson, which also serves as a pretty good snapshot of the state of the magazine today. Definitely worth a read.

What a great article, both about Sampson and about Mad’s past and future, in general. The section on Freaky and the possible Bill Morrison project were exciting. I subscribed to Freaky as a result of this. Are you planning on contributing to any of these projects? I do hear you may be busy working on something else, hahah.
