One week from today is the start of the Wizard World Chicago Comic Con at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL! The show is from Aug 23-26th. The Lovely Anna and I will be there hawking our wares including my new Catwoman print, and I’ll be drawing up a storm. I’ll be in artists Alley somewhere but still don’t have a booth number assigned, so just look for the the guy with the thinning gray hair, granny glasses and big biceps. That will be me. READ MORE

I just had a cancellation TWO cancellations for my workshop taking place Oct 12th-14th here in Minnesota, so I know have two open spots! It’s workshop time again! My workshop in Seengen, Switzerland starts today through the weekend! I’m happy to say this one sets a record, BY FAR, for the most female participants… 11 out of 16 (one not pictured)!! I don’t know why I get so disproportionately few female students. I have another in London next week. I’m still looking in to 2019 locations, but right now all my other workshops are sold out except the one in February in Las Vegas. It’s been a seriously crazy summer. I just finished a couple of sudden, short deadline jobs (including two illustrations for a major motion picture that will remain nameless) while working around several comic cons and workshops, plus family drama. The above image is a cover I did for a publication dedicated to high school competition trap shooting that just got released. I’ve been doing spot illustrations for them for years. Superstar comic book artist and fellow National Cartoonist Society member Graham Nolan invited me to contribute a full page piece of pin-up art for his Kickstarter project, which features two books: Graham Nolan’s MONSTER ISLAND 20th Anniversary Creator Edition and Black Book: the Art of GRAHAM NOLAN! Both books look to be fantastic, which is not surprising considering Graham is one the THE best in the business.
