My March 14-15 workshop in Nashville sold out very quickly and I had so many people on the waitlist that I went ahead and added a second workshop. This one will take place the week before the original dates, same location and details. You can register for your spot here. I also have a brand new Workshop information page on my website that is far more comprehensive as far as information about what these classes are all about. It was written by Kristi Durham who took my workshop in Toronto and who is a web-marketing guru. After the class she told me that as a… READ MORE

Here’s another in my “Classic Comedians” series, the (almost) immortal George Burns! In a rare bread from tradition, this original is still available in the Studio Store. READ MORE

Time for another step along the quickly shortening path looking back at my work for MAD Magazine. We really are catching up to present day, having started this journey way back in November of 2020, when it looked like I may have done my last job for MAD. Fast forward five years and MAD has started having more frequent new material, so as it turns out that road hasn’t quite closed down yet. But I digress… in this episode we look back at what is (so far) the last job cover I did for the magazine. The theme of the issue was “comedy” but more… READ MORE

Here we go with another step on my long and winding road of work for MAD Magazine. This is a tribute to the great Al Jaffee from MAD #32, Aug 2023. This is one of the more depressing moments in my time with MAD, and for the magazine. At this time MAD really was 100% reprint material with only a new cover and a new Johnny Sampson Fold-In as new content. It took something big like the 70th anniversary almost a year earlier or the passing of one of the legends of “The Usual Gang of Idiots” to get the suits upstairs to open up… READ MORE

I did a really fun job for Matador Records a few months ago that they just dropped, so I can share it here. Every year the Matador Records label does an end of the year review and sale celebrating the releases of new music by their artists. This year they had me illustrate a scene from a vintage records store featuring caricatures of a lot of really talented musicians and songwriters who debuted new music in 2025. You can check out Matador Records here, and use the code WHATMEWORRY for a discount on a some terrific tunes! Thanks Matador, not just for the project but… READ MORE

I’ve got my first few workshops for 2026 arranged! I’ll be teaching in cities I’ve never been before… Nashville and Salt Lake City. I limit these classes to 12 students, so there is plenty of one-to-one instruction and feedback and you really get to know your fellow artists. The dynamics of an in-person workshop like this are so much more effective than your typical online class. Video lessons are fine but there is nothing like total immersion, and drawing alongside others. If you are a beginner or hobby artist and are afraid you will feel like an imposter in a room full of Picassos, don’t… READ MORE
