Exclusive Print at New York Comic Con!

Next week I’ll be at New York Comic Con, and as I’ve been doing at conventions this year I’ll have a limited edition, exclusive print available. This oversized print (13? x 19?) of the splash page from MAD‘s parody of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” from issue 1 is limited to only 25 prints. All are hand signed and numbered. ONLY available at New York Comic Con next week. If I don’t sell them all the remainder will be shredded. These will not be available from me online. You’ll find me at booth A-16! MAD #10 Cover Revealed!

Bloody-Disgusting.com just released an exclusive look at the cover of MAD #10, art by Jason Edmiston. That link also has a peek at Sergio Aragonés‘ “A MAD Look at Alfred Hitchcock Movies”, all a part of their October “Halloween” issue. The issue hits newsstands comes out Oct. 8th. I have two pieces in this issue. There are a lot of rumors going around that MAD is ceasing publication after this issue. It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since I did the art for this smartphone app that caused a bit of a fuss when it was released. The app was called “Bobble Rep”, and it was a simple non-partisan database that allowed you to identify your U.S. Government Representatives and Senators either via lists by state, a search by zip code or other criteria, or using your phone’s location. MAD #10 Sneak Peek!

MAD has been busy posting sneak peeks at the upcoming issue no. 10 on their Instragram account, and today they posted a cropped part of a panel from one of the two pieces I have in this issue. The feature is called “Xander & Kam’s Night of the Living Sequels!”, and it’s a return to the short multiple film spoof format last seen in MAD No. 2.
