I went a little overboard today on my Daily Coronacature, but I needed a break from the last of my publication work. Anyway, here’s the whole Ghostbuster’s gang! READ MORE
No time for elaborate sketches right now, so here’s a really quick one of today’s subject: Emily Blunt. Important elements for Emily’s caricature? She’s got a prominent bulge under her eyes that create a dark shadow there, giving her a “smoky” sort of eye. She’s got a very small, sharpe end of her nose, and the area between her upper lip and nose is larger because she has a protruding upper lip. This causes her chin to appear smaller. READ MORE
The Minneapolis Star Tribune did a story about me and our little “Daily Coronacature” endeavor which ran in today’s issue. I have done one “Bollywood” related piece of MAD art… sort of. Back in 2016 I was a guest at a comic con in New Delhi, India. The convention organizers asked me to do a piece of art for a print for the con… something I could sign that would appeal to local comic-con attendees. After asking a couple of friends familiar with… READ MORE
I finally got around to drawing today’s subject… William H. Macy! He’s been a favorite actor of mine since “Fargo”… although we Minnesotans don’t really talk like that. Okay, we do… but not on purpose. READ MORE
