It seems like right after I do a workshop somewhere and post a wrap up about it, I get a bunch of people emailing me or commenting that they didn’t know it was happening and they wished they would have so they could have participated. I am not sure how to fix that, since I announce them as they get booked here and across all my social media accounts, periodically do a “still available” post if they have not sold out, and have a big banner on the right of my blogroll that links to the workshop page. The National Cartoonists Society’s charitable arm, the National Cartoonists Society Foundation, announced yesterday that they are having a Thanksgiving auction to benefit those harmed by the recent hurricanes in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico. Conducted by Heritage Auctions, the bidding went live yesterday. There are many really terrific originals up for bidding, including some very rare ones. Q: Does MAD change your submitted final art? For instance: I think you are drawing panel-lines in your MAD-parodies, but there are no more panel-lines in the magazine any more.
