Keep Up With Our Mailing List!

November 25th, 2017 | Posted in News

It seems like right after I do a workshop somewhere and post a wrap up about it, I get a bunch of people emailing me or commenting that they didn’t know it was happening and they wished they would have so they could have participated. I am not sure how to fix that, since I announce them as they get booked here and across all my social media accounts, periodically do a “still available” post if they have not sold out, and have a big banner on the right of my blogroll that links to the workshop page. I don’t know what else to do… READ MORE

Animated Monday MADness: Dog with a Star Log

November 20th, 2017 | Posted in Monday MADness

Here’s a look at another “mash-up” spoof I worked on for the animated MAD show on Cartoon Network, “Dog with a Star Log”. Sorry, the only video of the segment online is some camcorder pirated job on YouTube and I won’t post that here. Actually I thought this was one of the best segments I worked on in terms of my drawings being translated to animation. READ MORE

A: I’ll answer your main question in a second, but first I’ll address your comment about the panel lines and added panel space or “gutters”. What you are referring to is this: Above: Actual art I submitted for a page in the parody of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” Page as it appeared in MAD #443, July 2004 The MAD art staff added the spaces between the panels, Sergio’s marginal, and of course the… READ MORE
