A MAD Black Friday Sale!

November 27th, 2020 | Posted in General

When MAD announced last year that they were not going to be doing any more movie or TV parodies, I immediately pulled any original MAD pages I had for sale in the Studio Store. I haven’t offered any for sale since, because neither I nor they are making them anymore. I figured I’d better hang on to any I had left, which isn’t a huge number as many have sold over the years.

However for Black Friday this year I am listing a limited number of older pages at close to half the price I usually charge ($175 instead of $300). I’m listing them because… 2020… and they are a lot cheaper than usual because they are either the last page I have left of a given spoof, or the subject matter of the piece isn’t particularly sexy. I’ve got pages from the parodies of “Superman Returns”, “Behind Enemy Lines”, “Scrubs”, “Boston Public”. Entourage”, and “The Bernie Mac Show.” Many of these are some of my earliest work for MAD.

All are signed, and I can personalize them to you or anyone. You can also have the text pasted up in the word boxes for an extra charge. MAD placed all the text digitally but we can reproduce it exactly as it appeared in the magazine, suspect grammar/spelling and all, and place it in the boxes using archival materials. I have elves moonlighting from Santa’s staff that do this, but they cost a lot in sugar and booze.

If you ever wanted to own the original art from a TV/movie parody page that was actually printed in MAD Magazine for less than a bajillion dollars, here’s your chance. They also make a great gift for the MAD fan in your life.

Prices are good through Dec 1. Get them while they last!
