The Lakes International Comic Art Festival basically takes over the small lakeside town of Kendal, Cumbria, UK and brings over 70 comics creators and guests for three days of presentations, panels, classes and workshops, exhibitions and shows, films and a lot of other fun stuff along with signings and artists/publisher/dealer tables. My caricature workshop in Munich, Germany starts today through Sunday! Workshop class illustration above. I had a few people sign up for my September workshop here in MN last week, so I am only ONE SHORT of the minimum needed not to cancel the class. I’m still sticking to the July 12th deadline to meet that minimum, so if you are thinking about attending one of these this will be my LAST ONE in 2017, and so far the only tentative plans I have for any in 2018 are out on the west coast.
