Clicky to visit the Uproxx Sneak Peek! The upcoming issue of MAD will be their annual “MAD‘s 20 Dumbest People, Events and Things of the Year” issue, which in the last several years has been getting quite a bit of attention on the interwebbys in the form of “exclusive first looks” of some of the various MAD 20. Today Uproxx.com gives us the first of those exclusive first looks, this one is MAD’s Dumbest #10: a look at “Dennis Rodman, Our North Korean Ambassador”. Holy melanoma, Batman! Back in 2010 DC Comics, in an effort to integrate DC Entertainment more into the Time/Warner entertainment division, moved its digital and multi-media sections out to the Warner Bros. complex in Burbank, CA, but left the publishing end of DC Comics in the New York offices. At the time they said that the “New York publishing culture” was important to the division and that publishing operations would stay in NYC. Now that the official release date is here for the book Inside MAD, I can finally share the original piece I did for the book, and my choice for all-time favorite MAD article. First, the original piece: The introduction of the book is written by the very successful comedy film writer, director and producer Judd Apatow. In his intro, he points out that MAD never has done a spoof of any of his movies or TV shows.
