Q: I usually assume most artists are skinny or out of shape guys like computer nerds… but when I saw your picture you looked like a WWF wrestler. I workout myself and I was wondering if you could share with us your regiment and more importantly your diet and/or supplements. For instance I stick to a complex carbohydrate diet and I take creatine. I lift weights every 3 days yet I go all out. My main exercise are bicep curls and dips with a weighted belt. Also, I was wondering if you could share with us people’s reaction (such as fans or industry professionals) to… READ MORE

It’s half universal truth and half industry punchline that veteran artists often lament that “they just don’t make art supplies like they used to”. Younger artists usually roll their eyes, but just wait about 1o years, whippersnapper. Creating is a personal process and there is nothing more frustrating than when something you previously relied on to do this suddenly refused to do it and instead… READ MORE

Sketch o’the Week

February 2nd, 2011 | Posted in Sketch O'The Week

Didn’t get the “Sketch o’the Week” posted until 7:20 pm… it’s been one of those weeks. I try to avoid doing caricatures of reality TV show actors stars people, mainly because IMO 99.9% of them don’t deserve a moment of fame. Almost all of them have only one skill to boast of, and that is the ability to somehow get in front of a camera. Unfortunately it seems the publications I usually go to get references for pop culture subjects do not agree, and page after page are filled with pictures of reality “stars”. This week I gave in and did a caricature of Khloe… READ MORE
