My official schedule at Comic-Con is slowly coming into focus, but still has a lot of question marks. Q: As a young artist, I try to practice drawing cartoons and caricatures. From your point of view, what are some good famous people to draw to help me improve in all areas of drawing caricatures? This is the last of the art I did for Season One of the animated MAD show on the Cartoon Network.¬¨‚Ć these appeared on the episode that aired this week in a segment called “Glee-VR”, and the subjects are Jared Padelecki and Jensen Ackles from the TV show Supernatural. In the sheer craziness of what is becoming my summer, I plum forgot to post my annual “Happy Birthday” to The MAD Blog, which turned five years old on the 26th of June. So far we’ve had 1,906 posts (five of which have been these lame “Happy Birthday MAD Blog” posts, so actually only 1,901 posts), 7,658 comments, 251 Sunday Mailbags, 242 Sketches o’the Week, and a 100% score on the “total waste of time” meter.¬¨‚Ć Right now the blog averages about 1.1 million page views a year, a little over 3,000 per day.
