Time again for another step on the rapidly shrinking road that was a look back at my work for MAD Magazine! Here’s a final “Sketch o’the Week” for 2025… the recently passed sixties French sex symbol Brigitte Bardot. Frankly I only knew of Ms. Bardot as a… um… sixties French sex symbol. I’ve never seen one of her movies. I’ve never heard her sing. I didn’t know she forsook acting and performing at 39 and became a prominent animal activist (good) and later was fined and convicted multiple times in France for inciting racial hatred through several controversial racist books and public comments (bad).
