MAD Season 2 Starts Monday

Season two of MAD on the Cartoon Network will debut this Monday, Aug 29th. at 8:30/7:30 Central Time. According to the show’s website, the first episode will feature two segments I worked on: “Konan the Kardashian” and “Capt. America’s Got Talent”… I’ll leave it to your imaginations to figure out what those will be about. I will post some of the art I did for the segments on Tuesday. READ MORE

The Spy Who Flamed Me

This year is the 50th anniversary of Spy vs. Spy, and MAD has been busy with the celebrations. One of the cooler things they did was to produce a bunch of prototype, unpainted Spy figures and send them out to a variety of artists and sculptors, inviting them to make their own custom Spy. They had a glass case full of the resulting figures at Comic-Con last month, and have been busy posting images of a new one every day on their shiny new blog, The Idiotical.
