I just got back from teaching a workshop in Cleveland OH thing past weekend. I had another great group of artists and we had a great time drawing together all weekend! I have one more workshop scheduled for 2026 in Bethesda, MD in September, which is already sold out. You can get on the waitlist here if you are interested. This week’s sketch subject is the devilishly handsome Ryan Gosling. Another example of how attractive people are still very caricaturable. Gosling has all sorts of interesting things about his face to exaggerate… small eyes (with one “lazy” one), a thin and long nose that ends in a very strong triangular shape, a tiny mouth with a pursed sort of smirk, and a long face shape.
