… sounds like a sequel. I’m posting this image again because when I posted it a week or so ago I was asked to take it down as they did not want to reveal too much of the “90 Years of Popeye” show at the Huntington Beach Art Center. Well, that show opened yesterday so here’s my piece again, which is currently hanging in said show. Many of the original Popeye tribute pieces will be auctioned off to benefit some worthy cause, and I’ll let everyone know the details of that when I find them out myself. READ MORE

Since a couple of weeks ago I posted a favorite panel from the first “Spider-Man” movie parody, I thought I’d post one from “Spider-Sham, Too”, which appeared in MAD #446, October 2004 (written by Dick DeBartolo). I remember really liking this caricature of Willem Dafoe. The one of James Franco on the other hand… woof. READ MORE

I did this drawing of Alfred E. Neuman as a rare commission for someone today–brush pen and marker on 9×12 bristol. Since today is Wednesday I thought I’d post it as the “Sketch o’the Week”. Then I thought I’d offer to do a limited number of Alfred drawings just because. So, for the outrageous price of $60 (plus shipping) you can be the proud owner of one of 12 original drawings of MAD‘s Chief Idiot. Order quick, when they are gone they’re gone. READ MORE
