Sketch o’the Week! -Coronacature Edition (Vol 3)! is a collection of Tom’s caricature sketches done during the 100 days of “Tom’s Daily Coronacature” initiative. In March of 2020 the Coronavirus pandemic hit the US, and millions of people were ordered to shelter in place to try and stem the spread of COVID-19. Tom started a daily caricature exercise online, where he posted a new subject each morning and invited anyone to draw a caricature of that subject and post it on “Tom’s Daily Coronacature” Facebook group, or on Instagram/Twitter using the hashtag #tomsdailycoronacature. The result was a virtual daily art show featuring thousands and thousands of caricatures from artists all over the world. Tom continued daily for 100 days, after which he turned the project over to others. This book contains all 100 drawings Tom did during the “Tom’s Daily Coronacature” run, most done in pencil but some in ink and other mediums. It’s filled with caricatures of famous actors, musicians and media stars all drawn in Tom’s distinctive style.
