This is the original inked art from the splash page of MAD‘s parody of the movie “The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies” entitled “The Slobbit: Still Banal After Five Movies”. This spoof first appeared in a special “Loot Crate” edition of MAD in May 2015, and was later reprinted in the bookazine “MAD Spoofs Sci-Fi and Fantasy”, 2018. The art was the intro splash page of the article, and features a caricature of star Stephen Fry. Parody written by Desmond Devlin.
