MAD #1 Sneak Peek #1!

Here’s a sneak peek of my art from the first of two parodies I did for the new MAD, “Star Bores: Half Assed Jedi” written by Desmond Devlin. The splash page art above includes some digital work I did on the “scroll” of text, which new MAD art director Suzy Hutchinson improved upon in the final printed version. Below are a few panels from the story pages.

This is your usual first-rate work. It was interesting what you said about your splash page scroll being improved upon by art director Suzy Hutchinson – are you able to expand on that at all?
I really like that you drew Luke with shorter hair and beard and without white hairs when he is a projection, nice attention to detail!
