Men of Steel- Tom Welling!
Here’s Tom Welling from the moment he finally appeared onscreen as Superman, after a mere decade of beating around the bush on “Smallville”.
The reason Welling appears after Brandon Routh in the lineup, and is wearing the year “2011” instead of 2001 when “Smallville” debuted, is because of my rules of inclusion in the print. I am caricaturing the actors as they looked when the portrayed Superman proper, in TV or film, and with the requisite year of that appearance. While Welling played Clark Kent starting in 2001, he did not actually wear the costume and become “Superman” proper until the final moment of the series finale in 2011. Thus, this depiction.
This is the seventh of eight “Supermen” from my upcoming limited edition print “Men of Steel”, debuting tomorrow at San Diego Comic-Con and onsale in the Studio Store shortly thereafter!

My brother isn’t an artist, so hadn’t seen this series so far, and I sent him this one and he thought the 11 on his chest was teasing a season 11 of Smallville haha
Tom Welling was a fantastic clark kent but especially was super fantastic the villain “clark luther”. Now I would like to see in other films! ❤️

Tom Welling Clark Kent was a fantastic but I hope he has a bad role because it would be super fantastic. Henry Cavill has the beauty of Tom and it is much lower than the stature of Tom.
