The article was called “Gadgets to REALLY Make Home Theater Like Going to The Movies”, written by Dick DeBartolo. It was on the newsstands in October of 2000.

  2. hahaha Happy hundredth! Great and funny experience 🙂

  3. N Gomes says:

Why is this in Black and White. i have also seen some of your other fantastic works for Mad in BnW. How n Why do they decide so. Has it got to do something with the printing cost. And your charges for BnW vs Color??
    Anyways Big Congratulations. Great journey!

    • Tom says:

Mad was only in black and white once it went from a comic book to a magazine up until issue #402 in 2001. This would be a good mailbag question, actually!

  4. Kelly McNutt says:

Top notch! Congratulations, Tom! That’s a fun milestone.

  5. Nice! You’d have to throw in the ol’ smartphone reference nowadays…
