Since everybody seemed to like my pen sketch yesterday, here’s another one using the same technique–multiple Oscar winning actress Meryl Streep.

OUTSTANDING! Tom, if you are able to turn this “technique’ on & off at will, then you have reached a point in your career where coming full circle in talent, a gift! Most say you are not born with skill or talent, you have to learn these things. I always new you had something else besides raw skill, and just waiting to bust through. But with these last two sketch’s,… it’s exploded! I would love to see a full page of this black & white “loose style” of something Tom & maybe put it up for sale on the Blog for another Great Art Sale or auction! in my opinion sir, this is the real silent style of Tom Richmond, Do what you will for your monthly poster thing or Mad Mag, but this loose, maverick type technique is why I always knew something else was itching to show itself! All this is only my opinion of coarse, but as you can see,lol, not only mine, huh?
I’m glad you are liking the pen sketches, Lee, but the technique is only a surface thing. Underneath it’s the same basic drawing I would do for anything else… nothing really new.

I always wanted to see a caricature of Meryl Streep made for you, It´s great!!!! I always thought her nose is a great feature to exaggerate.
