Live From Comic-Con 2009
July 23rd, 2009 | Posted in General
Hey, I am only the 100,000th blogger to be blogging “live” from San Diego during Comic-Con! Woot!
For anyone who might be interested, I will be drawing caricatures and have original pages of MAD art for sale at the National Cartoonist’s Society booth (pictured above, space 1307) for a few hours every day, and be doing the same at the ToonSeum booth on the mezzanine level, space 8. No set schedule for either place.
Otherwise I will be hobbling around desperately looking for a place to sit down the rest of the weekend.

That’s about a 5 hour drive for me, and I was thinking this morning if I could swing a little road trip here last second, but probably not.
Post pictures of the more interesting stuff, and people that visitors here would be familiar with.

Hey Tom,
Hope all is well. Do you see anybody from “Twilight”? The wife is a major fan of hte books and movie…….
Daily cartoonist says you are “live blogging”. Now I noticed you posted at 12AM…was the show still going on then..haha
One day maybe I will make it out to one…one day. Hope you are having fun between all the work.
Hey Tom! If your legs get tired, just walk on your hands – with guns like yours, you should hardly notice! LOL
Ray–good thing you decided to take a pass on it. Comic-Con’s been sold out for a couple of weeks now. (!) I’ve been before and it’s definitely worth it to go at least once, although there’s more and more TV and movie stuff and less comic stuff every year.
In the picture, I recognize Greg “Luann” Evans, but not the guy in the middle.
Sold out? Wow, I knew it was popular but not that popular.
