Here we go again. It’s “Sketch Week”, where I will just shut up and draw a new sketch every day through Saturday, followed by our usual “Sunday Mailbag”. Today’s sketch is of one of the greatest guitarists in recording history, Carlos Santana.

Tom, is there anyway you could put up a video of you drawing a caricature for atleast one sketch during this sketch week? We would love to see the master in action !
If not , then atleast how about scanning the piece at various stages of drawing…
That would really help us in adding more perception to your previous tutorials… (btw will you be resuming them ?) and when is the book expected to be out? 🙂

I’m not sure how to do that video thing unless I did the sketch on the computer and did a screen capture video. I don’t have a video camera/tripod set up for recording an analog sketch.
The tutorials will continue, possibly this month but more likely in January.
