Sketch O’The Week
October 10th, 2007 | Posted in Sketch O'The Week
Number One Son Thomas is doing so well in his first year of middle school that last week he got a reward… a copy of Halo 3 for his Xbox 360. He loves playing those chase and shoot games. A few days ago he came into my studio and asked if I would draw a picture of Halo’s “Master Chief” for the cover of his school organizer. The sketch above is the result. Loosely based on the cover of Halo 2, but with some creative fudging of the armor.

Ha – nice little signature there! Great sketch of Master Chief, although I’ve never played a Halo game in my life. I’ve been too much of a GBA and DS guy for the past couple years. Although I just picked up a Wii this past weekend! We should swap Wii #’s.
That is sweet. I love Halo, and play it all the time. you really captured the Master Chief
Now THAT, my friend, is the definition of a “Cool Dad”. Well done.
😀
Love how you signed it!
Dang it, Engblom! You beat me to it! I’m sure you earned MAD “Dad points” for this one, Tom. Good job.
That’s outright awesomeness, especially how you wrote his name on the side.
