This is just a quick note to apologize to those who have ordered copies of my MAD book “Bo Confidential” with either a Bo or Alfred sketch, or more recently with a caricature sketch of someone from a photo in the last several weeks for the delays on getting these books out. I have been working feverishly on a couple of jobs which have impending deadlines, and will still be tied up through the weekend on them. I have not forgotten about you, and I appreciate your order and your patience.

Next week I have Tuesday slated to do all the sketches and caricatures and ship out all the copies of the books thus far ordered. I have to do it on Tuesday as Wednesday begins a period of intense travel for me where I will literally be out of both the studio and (for most of the time) the country for 5 out of the next 6 weeks. More details on all that later.

**CARICATURE sketch of YOU option- If you choose this option I will draw a pencil caricature of you on the inside fly leaf page of the book, signed to you. After paying via PayPal you will need to e-mail me two good photos of you, showing your face clearly. Your caricature will be based on these pictures, and ONLY these pictures. I was just notified that the MAD book I did in a whirlwind back in May is being released a week or so early, and is in stock at Amazon.com right now although they project Monday, Aug. the 3rd as the delivery date for orders.

Too bad it was not ready in time for the San Diego Comic Con. However I will have copies in hand and available to buy and for me to sign at the opening of my show at the Toonseum in Pittsburgh this weekend. It will be the official unofficial first time the book would be available to the public, and the first chance I get to see the actual printed book as well. I’m very curious to see how it all turned out… or if it all was just a nightmare I had after eating spicy food.

I’m incredibly swamped with all the stuff I didn’t do when I was in Colombia, so I have to cop out of the “sketch o’the week” this week. Instead here are a couple of the pencil sketches from the Bo Confidential book I shamelessly plugged yesterday. I’ll leave you to figure out who the caricatures are of.
