I maintain blogs in both WordPress and Blogger and find them both very usable and each has its advantages and disadvantages. I'll tell you more when I attempt to roll one into my new website.

I had no issues with switching as I started with WordPress from day one, but have used blogger on other blogs I've contributed to. My friend Keelan Parham made the switch a month or two ago and he seemed to think it was an easy transition (I think). Follow the link to his blog on my blogroll and see what he has to say.

Thanks Tom, I've been bugging my site hosting company to allow me to make my blog format more individual as in header and background images but as yet have gotten no joy from them. Wordpress may be a work-around to that situation.
