Reading about your computer problems, been through that and it sucks to be sure. Glad to here your Pro is working out, PS should be phenom when Adobe gets around to getting the uni program up and bug free. From everything I have heard it should run 1.5 times faster than on my Quad 5 which is pretty darned fast. You mentioned an extension cord on your monitor had that same problem, it was the cord. I recently read an article in Air Brush Action mag on Mark Richardson who using an application called Retrospect (I believe Dantz makes it) that backs up his working drive every half an hour, so if it fails he has not lost a weeks worth of work. I am looking into that and Simplicity right now my self. Other world computing makes a really slick firewire external HD in several sizes.
