Memorial Day

In honor of those who have fallen in defense of our country and our freedoms, here’s a link to my recap of the first “downrange” USO trip of National Cartoonist Society cartoonists since the Vietnam War. I was lucky to be part of a group that included Jeff Bacon, Chip Bok, Bruce Higdon, Jeff Keane, Rick Kirkman, Stephan Pastis, Mike Peters, Michael Ramirez, and Garry Trudeau. Proud to have been part of that team, which traveled to draw for wounded warriors in Germany and then on to Iraq to draw for troops deployed in the war zone.
