Illustration Throwback Thursday #28

Back in late 2008 and early 2009 I did a series of spot illustrations for a small newspaper in (I think) North or South Carolina called “The Independent”. They accompanied a weekly feature with stories on local politicians/business people and other local “color”. Some were caricatures of the locals and some were just cartoons. They were quick turnaround jobs, and just black and white. Pen and ink with digital grays.
