I have to say I was disappointed in this season of “True Detective” (Don’t worry, no spoilers here). The storytelling was convoluted, introducing motivations and characters involved in key events almost right before the plot lines they were part of were resolved. That’s not very fair when viewers spend 8 plus hours trying to understand the story behind the crime being investigated. Sloppy and poor storytelling, and a waste of a dynamite cast. Ah, well… The show did have some great moments.
