Day one at Comic-Con was extremely frenzied with The Tenacious D signing at the NCS booth as well as the general craziness. Here are some photos:

Were there any new books announced at the panel?
Yes, they announced another “MAD’s Greatest Artists” book: Don Martin! They also announced the first “MAD’s Greatest Writers” book: Frank Jacobs!

I remember thinking how hokey the Adam West bat belt became when the much cooler Tim Burton version came out. Now that I look at the Tim Burton version it’s become hokey now. Funny.
