Busy, Busy, Busy

… things are getting a little piled up in the studio and with my Valleyfair operation opening this weekend the blog posts may be a little thin this week.

For those who have inquired, the caricature tutorial series will continue later this month or in early June with another installment. Thanks for the interest and I’m sorry for the delays in getting to the next tutorial.

In the meantime, here’s yet another CGI-Superhero video I found on YouTube:

Not nearly as good as the Iron Man / Spider-Man / Hulk one I linked to a week or so ago, but this one does have some nice moments, especially the Galactus stuff.

YouTube is filled with these fan-made videos. There are endless links to faux trailers for Superhero movies… especially for a Justice League movie using footage from all kinds of different sources.

Actually, all of these videos are legit Marvel/DC products. The videos you posted here are from videogames. The Marvel sections are from “Marvel: Ultimate Alliance” (http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/rpg/marvelultimatealliance/index.html)
and I believe the DC sections are from “Justice League Heroes” (http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/rpg/justiceleagueheroes/index.html). The video you posted previously was on a Marvel Kids section of their site, and it uses the same character models from the Ultimate Alliance game. I really dig the look of that game, and am thinking of picking it up.
