  1. DShultz says:

Nicely done, and very funny stuff as usual.

…and the last two issues’ covers have been particularly hilarious.

  2. Matt. says:

Your Sopranos bit was too good.

I also can’t get enough of Mejia’s watercolors.

  3. Antzo8 says:

Hey, that’s a really good cover. I always enjoy Fredrickson’s covers though. I notice you get a lot of pieces on The Sopranos, which is good if you’re a fan of the show. I’m surprised APEC didn’t make it into the MAD 20 this year.

  4. Man I can’t wait for this one. Do you think anyone will know who Gallager is besides Baby boomers like myself?

  5. Tom says:

    Thank, guys.

Antzo8- Yes, it’s kind of like that with MAD. You do one job with a certain subject matter, and do a good job on it, then when another job with the same subject matter comes up you seem to end up getting it more often than not. After I did “Spiderman” for MAD I eneded up becoming the “comic book movie” guy more often than not, doing X2, Spiderman 2, Superman Returns and Batman Begins. The notable exception was Hermann’s Spiderman 3, but we swapped and I did Harry Potter instead. Anyway that’s sometimes how it works.

Barry- If you think the Gallagher one is outside the memory realm of the current MAD reader age demographic, wait until you see the “Citizen Kane Ending” panel.
