The silicon enhanced, calorically challenged former Posh Spice Victoria Beckham. This is a study where the body and posture are central to the caricature.

Awesome job Tom ! Her hair and face look very Andy Warholian and she’s only in her 30’s.
If Victoria Beckham ever donated herself to the hit
museum exhibit “Bodies”-they can just include her as is when she dies.
    Great sketch.

Great body… Hirschfeld could learn a thing or two. 😉

😀 I have to admit that JohnK “Hirschfeld” comment inspired this sketch.

The thing I love about Posh is the fact that her breasts make absolutely no attempt to look like they are biologically connected to her body. If it weren’t for the skin covering them they’d flop right off onto the ground. They look like two water balloons resting on a table top.

Awesome Drawing…and accurate, as well. It’s sad that so many female celebs have such a short shelf-life before they hit the wall!
Sketch of the week – Is my favorite feature . I love it.

pmcmichael-I agree. Sketch of the week is my favorite too ! Others are pieces done from rough to finish product. I enjoy seeing ideas in rough form and how they are tweaked to the finished piece.

Tom:great observation. I think her butt has implants too. I just cant see someone as anorexic looking as her having a round shapely derrierre (sic). Hopefully as the Spice Girls tour-young impressionable/influentional young women will see how awful sickly Posh looks and not try to look like her.
I nominate Posh to star as Olive Oyle in a Popeye sequel. lol.

    Tom,

As always great sketch!! I love how you captured perfectly the non-smile, like if I smile any more my face will crack. I think her 15 minutes are just about up,(after Spice girls tour) then you’ll only see her with her husband David at events….I think this sketch would look GREAT colored.

    Take Care
