Sketchbook doodle of Robin Williams with a very unlikely expression. I did a quick ink job and added some values with some old gray design markers.

Excellent. I could tell right away who it was.

Nice! You got some really nice shading with those markers.

I love seeing your quick sketch caricatures, rough to finished processes of art projects Tom. You can get inspired by studying artists lines and methods. This is one of the reasons I love this site. I also enjoy the tips too.
While I don’t like the book or cellphone or movie reviews on your blog updates (I respect others that do like that stuff) I just leave the site when I see those things posted and check in the next day for content I do like.

    Thanks.

When I started this blog I knew it wouldn’t be another “look what I drew today” art blog. I like writing and I use the blog as an outlet for that. Movie, book and tech gadget reviews, and the occasional workout, website recommendation or other non-art post, will always be a part of it.

By all means, read what interests you and check back in later if I’m writing about something that doesn’t. Thanks for visiting.

Great caricature, Tom. Keep up the great work!

    LOVE the overflowing body hair!

Good work Tom! He has a face that interests me and from different angles, is a face that can be drawn in a few different ways of exaggeration. Best I get pencil to paper soon and do my own RW version! Man am I lazy! Still today has been good, Barbie and Keelan flew in and we spent the day looking after them and having lots of fun! Don’t forget that you and Anna will be in line for our meet and greet policy when you come over! It shall be great fun!
